Knarrefest 2002Knarrefest 2002 was met with a new spirit and dedication, mainly from the organizers and co-workers in NYC. Two acts made their Knarrefest debut and forever changed the face of Knarrefest enterprises. Pittsburgh's own Jim Shearer took the stage at 3pm to a backyard filled with friends and colleagues. He performed an inspired set consisting of many future Deck of Jack classics. Taking the stage at 6pm was the legendary Corn Mo, bringing his one man accordion rock and roll freak out to North Jersey. Not since Jimi Hendrix at Monterey was a break out performance met with such anticipation and enthusiasm. People were floored...including the soccer team behind the backyard. Corn Mo still plays solo and with his band .357 Lover. Go see him, he kicks ass. This was perhaps the most successful Knarrefest to date. Old friends met new friends-inspiring future successful collaborations. |
